About Us

In 1979, Dan and Elizabeth Morris had a vision – start a uniform company that would provide a personal guarantee of good service, quality products and fair pricing. Thirty-six years later, they’ve not only seen that vision come to fruition, the business continues to thrive.

Having worked in the uniform rental business for forty years, Dan’s father Joseph Morris Sr, joined Dan and Elizabeth to work alongside them in building the company to what it is today. A strong testament to the consistent service and quality they provide is the number of original customers that continue to rely on Capital to deliver clean, well maintained uniforms.

The company has grown and evolved since 1979, adding more products and services, including linen rentals and facility services which provide their customers a one-stop shopping experience. Their vision remains consistent today and for the future.  Dan and Elizabeth, along with two of their sons, Brendan and Scott, are committed to maintaining a personal connection with their customers.

Capital Uniform Services is located in Beacon, NY in Dutchess County. The company serves Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. Their customers consist of restaurants, deli’s and pizzerias, automotive repair shops, landscaping companies, office buildings, municipalities, school districts and more.

Dan, growing up in Bronx, NY is one of 8 children.  Elizabeth grew up in Carmel, NY and is one of 7 children. They married in 1978, moved to Dutchess County in 1989 where they remain residents. A family business is very important to Dan and Elizabeth.

Both Dan and Elizabeth were raised with the integrity and tenacity needed to start and grow a company. As a result, their 4 children and 10 grandchildren have and continue to participate in the business.  Their oldest son, Dan Jr., was integral in building out two specific categories, deli’s and pizzeria’s, which remain strong to this day. Their other two sons, Brendan and Scott continue to assist in managing and growing the business.  Capital Uniform continues to thrive through the multiple generations which is rare for most small businesses.  A true testament to the ideals, morals, care, sweat and love that this family injects into their business, for their customers.
